Corinne King

At the age of 3 years old, Corinne took to the ice and fell in love. She also took a love to Ballet, Jazz dance, and piano at a young age, which has helped her with the feel of music and choreography. She has now been coaching for 14yrs from Beginner to National, she also runs the Canskate Program. Corinne has taught internationally in Frankfurt Germany with both Figure skating and Rollerblading. While living in Vancouver she also skated with the Canada Ice Dance theater with Coach Ron Vincent.

Corrine is a Level 2 certified coach, currently working on level 3. She is an ISU certified judge, and has been CFES Fitness Knowledge, Group fitness(theory/tech) strength training(theory/tech) certified for ten years. She is also a graduate of Blanche Macdonald school of Make- up and design(Grad make-up, Wedding Make-up and Fashion.

Corinnes philosophy towards the sport of skating is she loves the passion, discipline, dedication, and the joy!! At the age of 17 she decided to stop competing and to put her sport into Entertainment and Travelling around the world with 100 other skaters who shared her passion for skating joining Disney on Ice which she spent 9 years doing stand outs, chorus work, and travelling with 100 who shared her same passion SKATE!!! With the Disney on Ice experience she has helped out with putting together local ice shows and to sharing her passion of skating.

Corinne′s other interests are Running, Yoga, Jazzercise, Gardening and Cooking.

Corinne was coached by Sanda Leard, Barb Turner, Ron Vincent, Frank Nowsad (choreography). Apprenticeship was done with Sandy Leard, Fay Marshall, and Helmut May.
